Remember to check your gutters this fall!

We have officially entered fall. Does that mean that those summer hail storms are over? Not necessarily. Now they are just fall hail storms instead of summer hail storms. However, soon, those storms will move on and make way for winter and snow in Colorado.

New Generation Roofing would like to remind you that they call help you throughout all of the Colorado seasons. With fall comes the falling of all those beautifully colorful leaves. What exactly does that mean for your home? Well, it means you want to be sure you are checking your gutters.

Those falling leaves very often end up in your gutters and can cause blockage. That blockage means that rain gutters are not doing what they are meant to be doing. Rain is being gathered but may not hae a place to go because all those leaves are in its way.

If water does not have anywhere to go, it could cause damage to your home. Rain gutters are meant to keep water off your roof and away from your home. When that does not happen, it could be a really big problem.

So where does New Generation Roofing come in? Well, you can call them and they can come give you an inspection of your roof and gutters. If they find that there is some kind of blockage due to all those lovely fall leaves finding their way to your gutter, they can help you out.

Clearly those leaves need to be removed. It is not necessarily an easy job, especially depending on the height of your house. It will require some lengthy ladders and some skillful climbing to get to those gutters and clean them out. However, it is a necessary and important thing to do come the end of fall when those leaves finally stop falling.

As we head into winter (I do not even like writing that, the proximity to winter, ugh) but as we head into winter soon enough there are other seasonal things you must worry about. The biggest factor that we need to be concerned about is snow, especially heavy, wet snow.

This is why the type of roof you have is important. You do not want all that heavy, wet snow just sitting on your roof, weighting it down. New Generation Roofing can come out and inspect your roof and make sure that it is winter ready.

You do not want to be caught in the middle of winter with a roof in need of repair. That means that now is the time to get it inspected and ensure that everything is in tip top shape as we head into that meanest of seasons here in Colorado, winter.

So, there you have it. Your gentle reminder that as we shuffle through these different Colorado seasons, you want to ensure that your home and roof are ready to take on all that each season can bring. New Generation Roofing is here for you all along the way with every season. Call them or check out their website to see all they can do to help you during these changing seasons.
